Inaugural ceremony at White House recognizes companies investments in education and training.
This past week at the White House, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and White House Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump presented the inaugural Pledge to America’s Workers Presidential Awards. Nine different companies were recognized for their investments in the skills of their employees.
“Through the White House’s Pledge to America’s Workers, the Trump administration challenged the private sector to make a major investment in the education and training of their workers to ensure Americans have the skills necessary to remain the best in the world,” stated Ivanka Trump. “On behalf of the President, I am honored to award nine extraordinary organizations the Pledge to America’s Workers Award for their commitment to the exceptionalism of the American worker and for their steadfast resolve to equip their employees with the tools to succeed in the jobs of today and tomorrow.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump as he supports American labor and commerce.
- That the training and skill development policies of the president’s administration would be beneficial to the workforce.
- For Secretary Ross as he leads the Commerce Department.
